Suurin osa keittiön ruokapaketeista on Riikamarin 1:16 printtiarkilta. Mikro on nettiprintti. Hellan vieressä leivinpaperin päällä on kaksi Olivian tekemää leivonnaista.

Finally it's possible to make food and eat at Rauhankatu. The chairs that still need cushions I've bought but the rest of the furniture and cupboards I made myself. The microwave oven is a print. Beside the oven on the baking paper are two buns (or cupcakes) made by Olivia.

Eräs aamiainen. Teepussiteline, kupit, juustohöylä ja juustoastia Mirkalta, juustot, aamiaissarvet ja metwurstit Maija-Leena Autiolta.

A certain breakfast. The plate with the tea bag, the cups, the cheese slicer and the cheese plate are from Mirka, the cheese, croissants and salami from Maija-Leena Autio.

Talon edessä oleva talon levyinen kuisti on jaettu kahteen osaan ja toiseen päähän, keittiön seinän taakse, sijoitin ruokasalin. Jouluiset lautaset ovat Doloresista, piparikuusi taas Happy Little Muffinista , kakkuteline swapista, kakkulapio Marjutin Pienenpienestä, tuolit Minimaailmasta.

On the frontside of the house is a long verandah
which is divided in two parts. The other end, behind the kitchen wall, I turned into a dining room. The Christmas plates are from Dolores, the ginger bread tree from Happy Little Muffins, the cake strand from a swap and the cake server from Marjut/Pienenpieni, t he chairs from Minimaailma.

Yksi onnistuneimmista tähän taloon rakentamistani huonekaluista on pienoismalli mummilta perimästäni astiakaapista. Mummin vielä eläessä pyysin häntä säästämään kaapin minulle.

One of the best piece of furniture that I've made for this house is this cupboard which is a miniature model of the one I inherited from my grandmother. When she was still alive I begged her to save it for me.

For the dining room I also made a similar wooden sofa-bed that my grandmother had (we also have a similar sofa at home, found from a flea market). And naturally you can open the lid, spread the bed so the visiting children will have a guest bed.

Sininen käsinpuhallettu lasimaljakko on matkamuisto Venetsiasta, ruusut swapista.

On the other end of the big verandah beside the living room there is the tiny toilet, coat rack, set of drawers (I found the idea from a picture) and a miniature version of my lowboy. The blue handblown glass vase I've bought from Venice.

And then the staircase elsewhere in the house, what a nuisance! Several times did I glue and rip the steps, glue and rip, until they were some how satisfactory. The original house had a cream colored vinyl floor covering on stairs and I found a good wallpaper for that purpose from my endless files.

Portaiden alla on pieni komero, vaikkapa siivouskomero. Taustalla alakerran makuuhuone.

Under the stairs is a small closet, a cleaning cupboard for example. On the back the downstairs bedroom.

Onnellista uutta vuotta teille kaikille. "I hope life treats you kind"!

Happy New Year you all. "I hope life treats you kind"!
